Male fertility protocol

Dose
“200 to 400 to even 600 milligrams … around 400 milligrams”
How often
“Two to three times per week minimum … two times a week”
How taken
“injectable only”

“So let's talk about the framework and the dosing with glutathione. Really simple 200 to 400 to even 600 milligrams injectable only. No tablets, no capsules, no troies, nothing. Two to three times per week minimum. Most men respond really well around 400 milligrams two times a week. […] if you drink, you smoke a lot, or you live a really stress intense life, you're going to need probably 800 milligrams a week.”

Context: Part of a protocol to support sperm quality. “troies” is how the captions render “troches”. The cut removes a half-sentence that contradicts itself in the captions.

IV versus subq injections

Dose
“IV: 600 all the way up to 2,000 milligrams per session … subq: 100 to 300 milligrams”
How often
“IV once or twice a week … subq per day, or three, four, five times a week”
How taken
“IV or subq in the abdominal wall”

“When you're getting an IV of glutathione, it typically runs anywhere between 600 all the way up to 2,000 milligrams per session. Typically, it's once or twice a week. […] Now, if you'd rather skip the IV entirely, you have subq injections. Those are more practical and more consistent, easier to do. Typical dose, I would run a glutathione anywhere between 100 to 300 milligrams per day injected subq in the abdominal wall. […] Now, some people run it three, four, five times a week instead of daily, which still is going to maintain your levels just fine.”

Context: He says he ran glutathione “periodically throughout the year” and frames it as liver support for men on TRT. The first cut removes a remark on liposomal oral glutathione; the second removes a short aside. These figures differ from his January 2026 statement (above). He says all the peptides in this video were taken alongside the testosterone and HGH he runs all year. He says in his videos that he is not a doctor.

Own use: route and injection volume

Dose
“600 milligrams”
How often
“three times a week”
How taken
“intramuscularly”

“uh 600 milligrams injected with glutathione three times a week intramuscularly because the injection volume is a little bit higher. Subq 600 milligrams is for most people like 3 cc's 4 cc's and that's quite a bit and it burns more if you put it subq compared to intramuscular”

Oral glutathione and NAC (own use)

“so um n-acetyl-l-cysteine instead of glutathione, even though oral glutathione seems to actually work, despite a lot of claims online that seem to think that it's not orally bioavailable […] so i used to inject the glutathione though, but um i don't know, there's a lot of clinical data supporting that n-acetyl cysteine is as good or better”

What the research used

Context, not a dosing guide. These studies tested oral glutathione in healthy adults or intravenous glutathione in Parkinson’s disease. They are not a guide to injecting it for other purposes.

What we don’t know yet
  • No trial of injected glutathione for fertility, wellness or skin.
  • Vigorous Steve notes possible pro-oxidant effects at the injection site; see his quote on the NAD+ page.
  • Grey-market products are unregulated, so identity, purity and dose accuracy vary.
Common questions

Does oral glutathione work?

In a 6-month trial, oral glutathione raised body stores in healthy adults. Nicholas Trigili says “injectable only”; Derek says oral glutathione “seems to actually work” for him. These are their views.

Why do some quotes say intramuscular?

Vigorous Steve says he injects 600 mg into the muscle because the volume is large and it “burns more” under the skin. That is his experience, not trial evidence.

Is IV glutathione used in medicine?

It has been tested in small Parkinson’s disease trials, with mixed results.

Why does the protocol section only contain quotes?

We do not write our own dose ranges. The protocol cards show, word for word, what named people have publicly said, with their caveats and a link to the source.
